My most popular bake is sourdough. For me, it's a form of therapy. As a paramedic, my days are often filled with high-stress situations and emotional challenges. Baking is my escape, a way to decompress and find solace in the methodical process of creating something beautiful and nourishing. Each loaf is a labor of love, from nurturing the starter to the final, satisfying crust. It's incredibly rewarding to create something tangible that brings joy to people's lives.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite people to bake for is my fellow firefighters and first responders.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would use it to buy a new mixer,oven and refrigerator. I use my home kitchen and mix every loaf with my hands. I would also use the money to take time off work to start a family.
