My signature bake is my carrot special cheesecake, which is two alternating layers each of vanilla cheesecake and carrot cake; all enrobed in carrot-pecan cream cheese icing. People often tell me that it is the best carrot cake they have ever tasted.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
I will happily bake for anyone, but my favorite person to bake for is my mother. My mother is a tough critic, so if she likes it, I know it’s great. I make her whatever she wants.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would offer all the money to my mother; but since she probably would not take it, I would use it to open a brick-and-mortar for my bakery.
