Cranberry & Orange New York Cheesecake! This recipe is 13 years in the making & is beloved by all! Tall, creamy, and dreamy, the citrus & tart cranberry come together with the rich and creamy cheesecake for the perfect combination of holiday goodness. Each bite feels like waking up on Christmas morning, a thrill that is not restricted to the time of year, but a choice to indulge.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my person, Adam. After years of friendship, his last birthday request was a cheesecake. Something I’d never made before but was elated he’d asked me to make. I would pride myself in making his singular request. When it was done, he turned to me and stated it’s the best he’d ever had and I should sell them. After his passing in 2016, I’ve continued baking more and more elaborate bakes to this day, all for him.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would use the funds to continue supporting the food pantry we’ve started in our front yard, provide to those family’s less fortunate, and continue to provide baked goods to those around us with sensitivities, allergies & avoidances, or people in financial situations that could not otherwise afford things like sweet treats for the holidays or birthdays
