My signature treat is Cakepops! I started making them around last year as a donation to my community theatre group. They became popular pretty quickly because no one had thought about customizing cake pops before. This year I continued to put my time and resources into making Cakepops for my theatre group. I couldn’t be more delighted at putting my time into something that puts smiles on people’s faces.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favourite person to bake for is my family. They have always been incredibly supportive of me and my baking endeavours. I would say that I make cheesecake and Tiramisù for them the most. My father taught me how to make Tiramisù and for his and my brother’s birthday I made them each a Tiramisù flight. My mum and sister’s favourite treat that I make is cheesecake. I have made many different types for them, like Basque Burnt Cheesecake, churro cheesecake, and blueberry cheesecake.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would put a small portion aside for my business, some to my community theatre group as it holds a very special place in my heart, and the rest I would donate to Redwood Women’s shelter, helping women and children in need.
