My signature bake is chocolate cake — a rich, versatile classic that I’ve perfected and can transform into endless variations. It’s my most popular treat next to red velvet because its deep flavor, moist texture, and comforting sweetness keep people coming back for more.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my partner, Grace. She’s a certified sweet tooth, my toughest (and happiest) critic, and never turns down a taste test — purely for ‘quality control,’ of course. After her, my customers come next; they faithfully support my flavors and designs, I can create most of their desired flavors and custom designs — from classic favorites to the most specific.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would use the $10,000 to finally study culinary arts — a dream I’ve held onto since the days I was a little helper in our family bakery. The kitchen has always been where I feel the most alive, the most myself. This opportunity would give me the education I never had the chance to pursue, helping me turn years of passion, sacrifice, and hard work into a real future. It would bring me one step closer to creating a baking career that honors my story and uplifts the people I love.
