My signature flavor would be chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream frosting. but my signature cake would be fun children’s cakes and cakes with a beachy theme…after all I live by the beach and create cakes.by.the.ocean. .
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my daughter. Since she was little, I have put so much love into creating cakes for her. She would imagine it and I would create it! She was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease, so now I make her Gluten free cakes, that taste and look like a regular cake. My daughter gets to share her cake with friends and they can’t taste the difference. My husband died 2 years ago, and my daughter and I are all each other has…so I put extra love into her cakes.
How would you use the $10,000?
The kitchen is the heart of my home, so I would use the $10k to upgrade my kitchen, so I can expand my cottage baking business, cakes.by.the.ocean. I would also donate to a local animal shelter to help Senior pets who have been left behind.
