My signature bake is my classic tiramisu, made the traditional way with whipped egg whites instead of heavy cream. It has a light, silky texture and a balanced flavor that feels nostalgic and comforting. Each tray is made fresh with perfectly soaked ladyfingers and smooth mascarpone. People say it’s the dessert you always want one more bite of. It’s simple, elegant, and full of love — the treat that represents me as a baker.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite people to bake for are my two kids. They’re my most honest taste testers, and their excitement inspires so many of my recipes. I love making baby- and toddler-friendly treats using clean, simple ingredients — mini cakes, cupcakes, and fruit-based desserts with no added sugar and light mascarpone cream. Baking for them reminds me why I started: to create desserts that bring joy, comfort, and a little magic to the people I love most.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would use the $10,000 to grow my small home bakery into a more professional, sustainable business. I want to invest in better equipment, expand my menu, and bake larger batches more safely and efficiently. I’d also love to host more community events like “Paint Your Cake,” bringing families together. This prize would help me take the next step toward turning my passion into a full bakery that brings joy to my community.
