My signature bake is definitely my strawberries and cream cake flavor. The combination of the vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and strawberry jam along with the moist vanilla cake is the perfect balance of sweet and fruity! I love to decorate the cake with piped buttercream flowers. My favorite flowers to include are roses and peonies. Not only are the flowers elegant and realistic, but you can also eat them and they taste yummy! The cake both looks and tastes wonderful!
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my close family friend, Mrs. Dianna. She is one of my biggest fans and it brings me so much joy getting to bake for her. She gets so excited any time I bake her something! I love to make her elegant cakes that I know she’ll love. I’ve had the honor of getting to make her birthday cake twice now! Her excitement encourages me to keep pursuing my business.
How would you use the $10,000?
If I win the $10,000, my first priority will be to invest it back into my business, Sugar Crumbs Bakery. I will use it to purchase new tools that I can use while decorating cakes. They will allow me to be more creative in my cake designs! Most importantly, I will use it to better advertise my business and improve marketing. I love my business and want it to grow! The $10,000 will give me the opportunity to improve what I love doing, which is baking and sharing my business with others!
