My signature bake would have to be my Classic Cheesecake tarts (topped with cherry, blueberry or peach). It's everything about a cheesecake in miniature form. Baked in muffin tins, they are the perfect size for when you want the sweet tangy treat of a cheesecake but dont want to commit to a full cake size.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My family would be my favourite. Every holiday I make one or two full sized cheesecakes (one classic cherry and the other either mocha or dark chocolate).
How would you use the $10,000?
I would renovate my kitchen to Ontario Ministry of Health Standards so I would not have to rely on our Union Hall kitchen to do my commercial baking. I would also hire a graphic deaigner to create a logo for my business and purchase new display units to properly show off my baked wares for potential customers. Finally I would help out my family who have been supportive of my dream.
