My signature baked dish is pumpkin spice tres leches cake. It is very popular and even people who don’t eat pumpkin or sweet stuff LOVE it. It is very important to me because it’s a traditional delight in my culture but I put my own twist on it to make it my own!
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my grandmother. She is always honest in what she thinks of my creations. And I believe my favorite thing to make for her is cake, specifically vanilla cake with homemade buttercream.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would use the $10,000 to help start up my business called “Séda’s Sweets and Treats Co.”. There is a lot of equipment and items I still need that I can’t get on my own because my boyfriend and I struggle with our bills. We are only 19 and 20 and I want to start my own business to help me find stability in a job and do something I love with a passion. And be able to one day pass my knowledge to my children and maybe the business as well!
