My signature bake is my strawberry cake. It’s soft, vibrant, and made completely from scratch with fresh strawberries. Every bite tastes like home—sweet, bright, and familiar. It’s the recipe people ask for again and again, not because it’s fancy, but because it’s honest and comforting. To me, it represents everything I love about baking: warmth, care, and connection.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
I bake most for my husband. He’s my biggest supporter and my most honest critic. His favorite is my chocolate cake—rich, moist, and made from scratch every time. I’ve made it so often that I could do it by heart, but I never skip the little details that make it special. Seeing his face light up when he takes that first bite reminds me that baking is one of my favorite ways to show love.
How would you use the $10,000?
I’d put part of the $10,000 toward my future WFC goals—training, equipment, and new recipe development. The rest would go toward a well-earned vacation for my husband, who’s been my biggest cheerleader through every long baking day and late-night prep. It would mean so much to give him something back for all the love and support he’s shown me
