Breakfast rolls have become my signature bake as it's the kids favorite. From classic cinnamon rolls ,apple pie rolls, choc pb rolls to the newest favorite raspberry cheesecake rolls. We have been enjoying experimenting with all the different flavor options and possibilities of what can be done with a basic sourdough pastry recipe. Our 2nd family favorite favorite would be sourdough pizza from scratch.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
Definitely my two kids. I have 2 autistic preteens and learning to bake clean, healthy food for them has made the best most impacted difference in their behaviors and symptoms. The things we make the most are sourdough pizza , breakfast rolls of all flavors and nobake peanut butter oatmeal cookies. Other favorites include sourdough chocolate banana cake, sourdough everything bagels and my one of a kind Hawaiian pidgin bagels (cinnamon/pineapple) Baking went from an act of survival to love.
How would you use the $10,000?
Having recently survived hurricane Milton and living in a travel trailer, I would most definitely recover some survival debts and immediately file for 501c3 to begin a nonprofit organization that would help special needs families recover from critical crisis events through sustainable living using Christian based gardening, baking, credit repair classes and other like minded programs and therapies using a b&b/campground model to create a community that can sponsor those in need to thrive again.
