My signature bake is my “everything bagel” sourdough sandwich loaf. It's absolutely delicious and pairs great with a turkey sandwich. It's my most popular seller at my bake stand.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my husband, which is cliche, but I love feeling like I created something that warms his heart and makes him proud. He usually gets my cookies or muffins. He likes the cookies with his morning coffee so I tried to keep them stocked a lot of the time in our house. Chocolate Chip Cookies do not last long between my husband and daughter.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would use the money to build my own home bakery in my house and get licensed. I've been doing everything with one single oven, but I'm producing enough that I could really use a second oven. My husband and I have the perfect spot for this in our home, we just need the funds to finance it. This would give me the opportunity to expand my business and possibly do baking full time, which would be a dream come true.
