I am new to baking! I bake different kinds of goodies, all from scratch. I’ve never taken any classes, and my friends love my baking.

I would say that my pastries are my most popular treat. I use a Viennese puff pastry recipe that is a two day process in which I also use homemade butter to prepare. I then shape them and bake them. I usually top them with home made jams/purees, my most popular being strawberry or wild blackberry. I like to add a home made ganache or cream cheese filling. A lot of labor and love go into my pastries!
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my boyfriend. He isn’t big on sweets but he loves my pastries. I would say his favorite thing I bake would either be my homemade lemon bars or lemon pastries.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would I use the money to be able to start my own personal bakery so I can bake with love and joy and spread that love through the community. Food is the heart and soul and I would love to make people smile and enjoy home made baked goods.
