My signature bake is definitely my trifle cups. Everyone’s heard of trifles, but they’re a forgotten gem, until they try mine. At pop ups and markets, they’re always the first to sell out. People love the layers, textures, and all the little inclusions that make each bite something special. Every trifle has the basics of cake, vanilla bean pastry cream and whipped cream. The fun comes from the flavors and inclusions.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My grandparents are my favorite people to bake for. They’ve always been so supportive and will try anything I make. For my Mimi, it’s pecan shortbread squares every time. For my Nana and Dada, it’s always apple pie. Baking for them is where so much of my joy comes from.
How would you use the $10,000?
If I won $10k, I’d invest it directly into growing my at-home bakery. Upgrading key appliances, improving my kitchen workspace, and boosting marketing to reach more customers. This support would help me scale production, launch new offerings, and take my micro bakery to the next level.
