One of my signature bakes is my Caramel Cake — layers of soft, fluffy cake wrapped in a rich, creamy caramel sauce that takes hours of patience to perfect. It’s a labor of love that I only make during the holidays, which makes it feel even more special. Another favorite is my Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie. Browning the butter adds a deep, nutty flavor to the dough, and using two types of chocolate chips takes it to another level. It’s simple, nostalgic, and seriously irresistible.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
It’s hard to choose just one person, I love baking for my family and friends. They are my biggest supporters and have encouraged me to pursue my baking career full time instead of it being just a hobby.
How would you use the $10,000?
I plan to invest a portion of the prize money into much-needed equipment to boost efficiency and production. The rest will be set aside to accelerate my goal of opening a brick-and-mortar location and expanding my bakery’s footprint in the community.
