Presently my signature bake is a caramelized onion and confit garlic, focaccia bread. It sounds so simple with simple ingredients and simple flavors, but the flavor profile can be adjusted to just about any dish. Do you want to dip it in a savory soup? Fine! Do you want to cut it in half and make a delicious sandwich? Even better! Do you want to pull it straight from the loaf and eat it warm fresh from the oven? That’s fantastic also! Focaccia bread is so unique and can be custom to any palate!
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is my closest friend Vee, she is brutally honest and has no problem telling me when I’ve missed the mark on one of my baked goods and for that I have the utmost respect. Currently, I love to make focaccia bread for her because I can switch it up and change my flavors and she will tell me plain as day if it’s good, if she thinks it’s profitable, or if it’s one of the bad ones and I should go back to the drawing board.
How would you use the $10,000?
Honestly, I would use the $10,000 to survive. Many people have these grand and elaborate ideas on how they’re gonna use the money, not me. It’s simple I’m 25. I’m a culinary graduate. I grew up poor and I’m still poor. I struggle to pay my rent every month and if I didn’t have the people surrounding me in life that are, I wouldn’t be able to eat every day. Let alone enjoy the luxuries of life and trust me when I say luxury to me is being able to take a day or two off and not worry about bills.
