My signature bake is my Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie, crispy edges, a chewy center, and a rich, nutty flavor from the browned butter. It’s “comfort in every bite” and perfectly captures what Mo’s Comfort Kitchen is all about: homemade warmth and joy. Customers say it tastes like nostalgia, which is why it’s my most-loved and most-ordered treat.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite people to bake for are my parents. They’ve been my biggest supporters since day one, and seeing their faces light up when they taste something new means everything. Their favorite is my Caramel Apple Pound Cake, I make it often because it reminds us all of home, love, and the heart behind why I started baking in the first place.
How would you use the $10,000?
I would use the $10,000 to bring my dream to life, opening a Special Education Baking and Life Skills Academy. This would be a space where individuals with special needs can learn baking, teamwork, and independence while finding joy and purpose through creating something sweet. As someone who works in special education, I want to build a place where every person feels included, valued, and seen for their abilities, a place that empowers them with confidence and autonomy.
