My most popular bake would have to be my chocolate cake. It’s moist and rich with lots of butter and melted chocolate. I bake a lot but something I never get tired of is chocolate cake. I had made one for a party once and I later had someone tell me they were dreaming about my chocolate cake and had to order one for themselves.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
I don't have one particular person I love to bake for but I love baking for my entire family. Everyone loves something different I make. My siblings like my jumbo cookies, my dad loves pies, my mom loves anything with chocolate and my grandparents love anything I bake.
How would you use the $10,000?
The $10,000 would help me by providing the opportunity to attend culinary school and gain the knowledge and confidence to fulfill my dream of opening my own bakery. I have always known I wanted to be a baker, and someday I want to open a bakery where people can come and eat delicious baked goods, but also enjoy a cozy atmosphere. For me, baking is about connection, and there is no better way to bring people together than by sharing something made with love and care that also tastes delicious.
