Having been born and raised in Thailand, I’ve always felt the true charms of Thai desserts is coconut. My coconut chiffon cake represents the heart of Thai desserts. Made with coconut water and coconut milk, the cake is soft, light, and gently sweet. The filling combines tender young coconut with a smooth coconut sauce, creating a fragrant, delicate texture. Topped with soft whipped cream, it reflects the warmth and balance that define Thai flavors
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
Since I moved to the United States, the thing I miss most is Thai food. I love cooking Thai dishes and desserts for myself, but lately, I’ve especially enjoyed making them for my boyfriend, who appreciates the bold and spicy flavors of Thai cuisine. His favorite dessert that I make is my signature coconut cake — light, mildly sweet, and the perfect treat to balance the heat after a flavorful Thai meal.
How would you use the $10,000?
The prize money would be truly meaningful and valuable to me. I am currently building my own dessert brand with limited resources, so winning this award would allow me to invest in and grow my brand, helping more people discover and enjoy a variety of delightful flavors and textures. I also plan to donate 10% of the prize to support people with disabilities from birth and to share my desserts with those who may not have the opportunity to buy the treats they love.
