My signature bake has to be my red velvet cake. The recipe has been passed down to me from my grandmother’s grandmother. The moist cake, silky smooth cream cheese icing and touch of crunch from the pecans…. Mmm chef's kiss!!! It doesn’t stand a chance at any family gathering!!
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
I love baking for everyone, lol. I like getting others opinions on what they liked or wasn’t a fan of. It helps me to challenge myself to have a little bit of everything for even the most difficult palate.
How would you use the $10,000?
I really want to expand and possibly open my own bakery. Nothing too fancy, just a quaint little place with yummy treats and vibes that feel like home.
