Cinnamon Rolls are the quintessential comfort food. My very first taste was when my mom treated me to some by using her leftover bread dough. Now I do the same. Many seem to enjoy them. It makes me happy to bake. The cinnamon goodness is best served warm & fresh. So I often will awake early that is if I want to treat someone with them for breakfast or to have them go along with that first cup of Joe. I love to cover them with plenty of my butter/cream cheese frosting and serve them right away.
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My favorite person to bake for is myself. I find it fun, tasty and always wonderful to share new creations with those I love. It’s cozy and warm in the kitchen and I know something delicious is going to be the sweet reward when I am done. A bonus is I can share it with others. It makes me happy when I can make something that I like and bring that enjoyment and pleasure to someone else. My family & neighbors all enjoy my baked goods. I think my bread dough though is the foundation to much of it.
How would you use the $10,000?
I have long dreamed to open a little cafe & gift shop featuring my baked goods, etc. This way I could visit with people, continue to bake for myself and for others. It would be sucha blast to get creative baking & cooking on a larger scale for my community. I would be able to make a living at what I love to do! Which is making great tasting food! Hopefully, it will make many people’s day a bit better through nourishment of the body, the soul and the spirit! I love God & I love serving people! ♥️
