My homemade Sourdough Cinnamon rolls are very popular. I am sometimes a guest speaker at our local Middle Scool and I take enough cinnamon rolls for each student. The rule is that if you don't go to sleep during class, you get a cinnamon roll. No one has ever slept yet! I have dealt with cancer 4 times and heart surgery. I always take cinnamon rolls to each doctor visit. My Podiatrist calls me "Cinnamon Sandy". His assistant made me an apron with that on it !
Who is your favorite person to bake for and what do you make most for them?
My family. We lost our son 5 years ago and ever since, I try to cook Sunday dinner for my family. We usually have at least 8 eat with us and I always have Sourdough bread or rolls and usually cinnamon rolls. Sometimes I will make a Strawberry Cream Cheese Tart with the dough. Not a lot of leftover desserts!
How would you use the $10,000?
I probably would buy something special for both my daughters and both grandchildren. Just something they want and would be a complete suprise. Also, I've been married to an awesome man for 54 years. In the past 2 years, he has dealt with cancer and three back surgeries. I would buy him a golf cart or side by side to run around the neighborhood. One of our daughter's and granddaughter live next door and he's always running down there taking things or doing things.
